P90 Replacement Gearbox

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find a P90 replacement gearbox, or gearbox shell? I recently got a P90 in a trade and found that the recess where the anti reversal latch rests in broke off. Because of this broken piece, the gearbox is inoperable.

Ive looked around and have found many sites that list echo1 and ACM replacement gearboxes, but every where is sold out.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate the help.

Thank you,

Jordan

Well since I've gotten no love from any vendor, I reached out again to the CA corporate site and again reiterated my situation that I would like a spare shell. (among other parts not listed on any vendor site)

They forwarded my request to their flagship store who have put one on order for me. The cost is 45$ for the shell and motor cage plus shipping. I'm currently waiting for it to become available to ship.

So that means if anyone needs a shell they don't have to use the shitty misaligning KS one or the weird bushing TM version that sometimes doesn't like v2/3 gearsets.
I suggest you try getting your hands on a CA is possible.

Is it just the anti reversal latch that doesn't work?

I'm also interested in this ^^^^

Jordan, can you post any pictures? It would be a good thing to know what caused the damage so other P90 owners can try and prevent the damage from happening.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I already put the gearbox back together to avoid losing any parts but basically the protrusion where the anti reversal latch is broke off. Usually there is a metal cylinder that holds that shank of the latch. Half of that cylinder broke off. As a result, the anti reversal latch is not held in place in the gearbox and moves around freely.

Edit: Not my image but its this part that broke in half.

Thanks for the well wishes. I am a resourceful person. Ill figure out a way to make it work one way or another. I got lots of freebies with this trade like mags, EO Tech, batteries so Im not upset. Full disclosure was given to me anyways that the gun was having problems.

Get a classic army anti reversal latch. The latch itself can be freed to rotate on the shaft and you can glue the shaft in place.

Alternatively try emailing patrickchow01880@gmail.com, he's responded to me from CA's shop regarding replacement M14 parts.
