WE AK PMC piston replacement

So I got my first ever GBBR... a WE AK PMC. The piston, however, doesn't want to stay attached. I've loctite'd it, no dice. Is there an aftermarket piston available that has deeper threading?

I'm a complete GBBR noob when it comes to available parts so a spoon feed will be necessary.

RAtech makes a steel piston but its REALLY heavy
what I did is some JBweld on the threads, then put the piston in a clamp and tighten with all your might, and hope for the best

I think you replace a new original is better.

^ Dude, that's a nozzle, not a piston. We're not talking about AEGs here.

@ Spike; Is it the silver piston head that screws off or the whole thing (piston head + piston rod) ? Because on mine, and also on Drake's one, the whole thing was red loctite like f**** and needed crimps to unscrew the bastard off to install the RA-Tech steel one. I even think Drake never got a hold on his and is still loctited in place hahaha.
