when someone local to me showed up with the rush 24 I decided it was way too big for my needs... it seemed cavernous, and after I ordered the 12, I stuffed it FULL with a lot more stuff than I thought could go in it and it took it all in stride.

If you're backpacking and have need of more than 2 changes of clothes, a 24 will probably be a better choice, but it was BIG.

Well, like i said earlier, its just for dayhikes and bumming around town. I have an osprey 70 for carrying all my gear. Id like to be able to drop that at camp and pick up a smaller pack when i can. Plus, im needing a carryon bag. Anybody know of any stores that sell Tactical Tailor in Edmonton? If not, looks like its the Rush 12.

Well, went with the 24, mainly due to the fact i can use it on long sims back home. Here in guate its been amazing and id recommend it to anybody. It compresses nice, has a 3 liter hydro capacity, room for raingear, sleeping bag, change of clothes and a shit ton of pockets for little things (ir; wallet, phone, mp3 etc...)its held up through some tough times, stitching has pulled maybe 2 stitches but the back stitching is holding it as tight as when i bought it. More on it when i get back.
