Tm mp7 gbb

Just popping the question out there as I see nothing here or VIA a quick google search.

I've had some issues with the mags for the TM MP7 GBB. They like to stop feeding. Generally around the mid to lower point of the magazine, aka half empty or less.

I have taken them fully apart to clean and tried with a light greasing and without greasing. Neither one made any change to the feed issue.

A slight problem for myself is that the issue happens in the heat of battle, so I am not sure which of my four mags jams. In my case it is two mags that jam.

Also to note, I have spoken with one other owner of the same gun and he claims to have the same issue.

Tonight I took them apart and did a LIGHT sanding down with a rotary tool. At first glance and after a few test shots, it seems to fire and slide just the same.

The issue doesn't happen all the time so it's making it harder for me to pinpoint the issue. The next time I game it, I will be very aware and taking mental notes of what happens and with which mags.

With all that said, I'm wondering if someone out there is having the same issue and could perhaps point me in the right direction. This gun is too amazing to be held down by a mag issue.

Thanks in advance

Well I'm a proud owner of the MP7GBB, I find that the mags load better if you only put 30rnds and the mags are very sensitive to dirt build up

I will try that on the ones that are problem child's. Still not a solution I am looking for. But it would help in getting to the bottom of the issue that's for sure.

Thank you

This is a guess, but maybe the spring is too weak? It works well when there is a lot of BBs because is is more compressed, thus more strong, but as the tension decreases, it starts to stop feeding?

Just a guess.

the inside of the feed channel has some metal burrs probably... sanding the correct spots with some high grit 600+ should get rid of it.

The spring is not weak, infact i find the spring is a bit long and because teh mags is slightly curved the spring sometime get stuck it happens a lot more often when the mags are dirty or dusty, for some reason Marui decide to apply a little coating of oil or something which makes it easier to trap dust and dirt. The first time I use my GBB at TTAC the end of the night my mags are dirty inside the track.
