Unhappy Does anyone have experience with Echo 1 Troy + DYTAC mid caps?

I have a Echo 1 Troy MRF and I bought a DYTAC mid cap mag for it, but the mag release tab never seems to clamp down on it properly. I have tried sanding down the mag on different parts to try to get it to fit better. It fits in the mag well and the top of the mag seems to reach the end of the mag well. I have bought mid caps for it from generic Chinese brands before which worked fine, although they are all metal STANAG styled. Any ideas on how I can get the DYTAC mag to work properly and have the mag release tab clamp down properly with it?

For reference: the mag is same as the one sold here http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/dytac-120...5pcs-pack.html

Edit: Quick question, are we allowed to repost this thread to other sections (specifically gear or accessories discussion)?

have you tried making the hole where the mag release fits into the mag bigger?

I had a similar issue with some socom gear mags and my XCR-L had to file down some tab inside the magwell to make them fit. they fit snug and with a little wiggle came out..
