Question for the retailers

I'm just looking into something for a friend who recently opened an airsoft store locally. If this is posted in the wrong area I apologize anyways on to the question. Of all the retailers on this forum would or are any of you inclined to wholesaling to a retailer? The reason I ask is the current supplier is having trouble keeping up with demands for items in stock and he is trying to feel out a new wholesaler. He is new to the airsoft scene but wants to grow the sport in or area any help or advice would be appreciated
Either post on here or send me a pm and I will forward any info thanks again in advance

While I am not currently a retailer, I can answer from personal experience. Prices are high enough as it is on most QUALITY guns and gear, so for the individual retailers to import, then sell their goods to one 'larger' retailer would mean a loss in profits for those individuals.

I was figuring that would be one of the issues to be mentioned and is understandable. But overall the community here does not mind paying a little extra for an aeg or gbb when you can drive for 20 min as opposed to 3+ hours or at times ridiculous shipping costs for small orders. In the northern parts of ontario we are used to paying a little more for everything. So this was sort of my view on it manufacturer to bigger retailer at wholesale prices then bigger retailer to smaller retailer for wholesale+ say 10% or something to that effect. Similar to buying say automotive parts local supplier sells to local shop at cost plus 10% roughly then local shop sells to consumer with they're mark up(and yes at times way to much for said part) in the end everyone is making money

Or why not talking to either the distributors or manufacturers direct?
