Custom Olivewood grips on my 1911
I have a burl buddy who spends his days in the woods mostly, cutting down trees and searching for nifty things to use in his artwork. He makes jewelry mostly, but I commissioned him to make me some grips for my KWA. I must say, they turned out freaking gorgeous!

I had to give him my original synthetic grips as a template, and even then we needed to do some adjustments to make them fit perfect. I'm pretty sure he is out of the Olive wood now too, but if you're seriously interested I will inquire for you. I paid $60 for my set.

willing to perform services in a dark alley that may or may not leave you satisfied for a title. GFE = 1, looks = 2, BBFS for an extra $50.

He has an artist's eye for detail, I like the orientation of the knot at the bottom and the grain texture. Very nice piece!
