BTW I have G&P and VFC.
I have a collection of broken sector gears I am planning on making some modern art out of. Perhaps mail t all back to TA for a scrap steel credit. VFC internals are absolutely top notch. When you open a stock gun to change a spring and everything stays in the box TIGHT you know the gun is solid. Steel Bushings Aluminum piston head Hardened Steel Gears Floating shaft on sector gear spring loaded. WELL put together. Tight as a drum. Last edited by Trev140_0; March 1st, 2013 at 20:42.. |

ERMAHGERD DA SKER ERS FERLIN!

I have had my VFC M4e for just over a month and have been playing CQB 2 times a week with it. Probably 12 games about 25 hours of play and just over 6000bbs including plinking in my basment range. My gun runs as smooth and accruate as the day I bought it. 0 gun related problems. Only upgrades were Deans and a new hopup rubber. No need for a tight barrel as it is lazer accurate at cqb ranges. (aimed for and hit an oppnents hand at 90 feet just today) Will see how it does in the field in a few weeks. |

It is worth it in the end, IMO. I replaced the barrel, bucking, hop up, nozzle, cylinder head, piston, piston head, gears, bushings, motor, and wiring. I also rethreaded the receiver, so it can accept the standard threading rail systems. The rest of the parts are solid from what I've read, and can be left stock. Externals, you can't go wrong with VFC Deluxe, or G&P. Some people will say that G&P have poorly matched externals, but if this is the case, buy local. When you buy local, make sure all the parts are matched, tight and no wobble. If it looks solid, get it. If you want to rethread your receiver, hit me up with a PM, I'll send you the tool (you pay shipping), and you send it back of course .
