CYMA AKM (CM048M) basic upgrade suggestions
I want to do some basic upgrades to a stock CYMA AKM (CM048M).
I am not a mechanically or electronically inclined individual and have had all upgrades to my other airsoft guns done by gun docs. However I have done some research online about basic upgrades for AEGs. So far I am considering the following: -new spring (also to bring the FPS to under 400) -6.01 or 6.03 mm tightbore inner barrel -MOSFET -Deans connectors I would have included new hopup as well except the CM04M comes with a metal hopup and I have read that it is pretty solid. If there are any basic upgrades that I should add please let me know.

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

the hop up rubber and nub, maybe the promy bridge type nub and flat rubber.
stick with 6.03 or 6.04 tb a 6.01 in an aeg is just askin for jams just be sure to buy a quality tb with a consistant bore as thats more important. this fet is what i just ordered, plug n play unless you want/need all the fancy features all i wanted was 3 round burst and efficentcy so thats covered in the baisic install http://www.airsoftstore.ca/index.php...roducts_id=135. the gun shoots above 400 stock?

You can keep the hop up unit, but changing to a better hop-up rubber may be beneficial.
CYMA AEGs are supposed to be 400 fps stock, but I got a CM-040D that is 420-430 fps stock...

Thanks for the suggestions,
I will be upgrading the hop up rubber and nub as well and the MERF 3.2 has also caught my interest.
