yeah they were on my list of possibilities as well. well some of my teammates are going to let me try some of their mags, see if anything works, and I ordered one 50 round midcap off airsoftdepot, so well try that too... Thanks everyone for all their suggestions, I appreciate it :-)

The TM 50 round mags from airsoft depot worked flawlessly in the mx5, sorry for the long delay in replying.
