Exclamation Missing Screw on my VFC mk 16 Scar-L

Hey ladies and gents, I am missing a screw on the lower rail on my VFC mk 16 Scar-L. I have a screw in there that fits but it isn't flush to the rail, I am planning to buy the VFC EGLM and I feel that the EGLM will not mount on the rifle properly. Where can I get a new screw?

Is the screw too long? Or did you just shove a screw in there with a rounded head.

If its the first one, simply cut it down to the same length with a dremal as the other screws. You can clamp a screw down in a vice by screwing it into a nut and clamping down on the nut. That way the vice will not wreck the threads. Or you can even wrap a thick piece of card board around the screw if no nut is suitable.

It the head is rounded, again with the dremal flatten the head down so it sits more flush with the rail. But dont go so far that you cannot unscrew it afterwards.

I have used both of these methods to replace various screws that have either been lost. Or broken off because they are cheaply made.

For extra credit use some gun blue to colour the screw black to match the other ones.
