Arid DPM and Temperate DPM has been replaced with MTP ( multi terrain Pattern ) which is essentially Multicam .. with a DPM flair..

you can find the S95 pattern MTP shirts and pants if you look hard enough,
smocks.. forget it.. been looking for a year, gear .. forget it.. but multicam gear matches quite well with it.. and is in fact approved for use by the MOD.

Brian, are you referring to MTP smocks? It looks like they're pretty common on eBay nowadays.

There's one selling for $77 USD. At first glance the tags look legit, however I'm not up to speed on the nuances of Brit kit. Can you enlighten us?

I had not looked for one in a few months.. when I got my S95 MTP shirt and pants.. smocks were "hens teeth" but it seems there is some available now.. but it seems there are none in full sized man size.. I'm 50 inch chest, 40 inch waist.. and 5'11'' most sizes seen are a little more trim than that.. but I'll keep my eye out

Thanks for enabling my smock problem

boblittle, the guys in your photo are Paras wearing the plate carriers they were briefly authorized sometime around 2006. They were made by BHI and can be seen on all those photos of Price Harry when the press 'outed' him during his tour.

If you're not set on using the latest Brit kit, there's lots of DPM stuff floating around for not very much. The Paras certainly put a lot of time and effort into looking badass, and a pre-MTP Para would be a fun look to try.

Here's a website with a lot of British Army stuff.

http://www.militaryops.co.uk/

They don't have helmets or the new plate carrier though. But if you're fine with the old stuff, they have pretty much anything except the flak.

The guys in the picture are from 3 Para. Sandpit tours Either 06 or 08

They are wearing UBACS in Desert DPM.

these are available below,
Silvermans, UKtactical, Strike force supplies etc, etc, Shipping hurts so group order.

Some guys are also wearing PLCE webbing (Super easy to find) and all are issued the MK6 helmets.

Baker Company mentioned a plate carrier and I think he is right, It was made in the UK and retailed somewhere around $300 for the recce rig. Will look for manufacturers name tonight and update here.... Company was Warrior. That said it is equally feasible that this is the Osprey Mk4.

Osprey Body Armour Mk1 and 2 versions sometimes come up on Ebay but not often. Best bet is to call the Surplus Stores. Numbers are available from Google.

East coast Canada is 5 to 6 hours Behind the UK. West coast is 8 hours so factor that into calls or mails.
