Cool MP40

Hey guys, I wanted some input on what everyone thinks is the best MP40 on the market?

I own an SRC MP-40 and did previously own two AGM MP-40's.

The SRC MP-40 has a better external build than the AGM MP-40. The SRC MP-40 is an EBB and comes with a Hi-Cap magazine. A lot of people have had problems with the these Hi Cap magazines. SRC MP-40 magazines are proprietary and the mid cap magazines, while available, are relatively expensive.

The AGM MP-40 can be hit or miss out of the box in regards to skirmishability. The electrical wire used is quite thin. The external build on both of mine was creaky to say the least. The affordable King Arms MP-40 magazines worked fine on both of my AGM MP-40's.

I bought my SRC MP-40 brand new. I took it out of the box, installed a charged battery and a loaded magazine and it shot perfectly fine.

I bought one AGM MP-40 used and one brand new. I had to piss around with them a bit to get them to shoot. The problems were nothing major: dirty barrels, broken hop up rubbers.

Both are fine. The SCR MP-40 is the more expensive one.

The AGM MP-40's are more affordable.

My personal preference is the SRC MP-40 because the creakiness of my AGM MP-40's made me not want to use them ever.

also the SRC comes with a MOSFET installed and there is a mod to make the AGM mags work in the SRC.

Are there only two companies who make the MP40?

I have the Marushin GBB. Fun little bugger let me tell you, but you need to use duster on it because the internals are pretty fragile. The Top MP40 I've heard the internals need to be completely replaced With the PGC gearbox to become a reliable AEG.
