Dust cover for Madbull MUR upper receiver.

Hey guys, I'm need some help in finding a dust cover that could fit onto Madbull's MUR. I've tried a G&P, JG, CA and none fit. All where too small or didn't even come close to fitting. CA was wide enough but couldn't latch close. Anyone know which dust cover or brand that would fit? Thanks.

And yes I've checked Madbull's website and browsed the interweb with no luck.

Why don't you reverse it so it's sprung closed, no open?

well the problem with the covers that I've tested is, they are all too small and leaving a 1-2cm gap at the top. the g&p one is way too small that even the width leaves a 2cm gap. Looks really funny with a tiny cover.

Same here, anyone have an answer?

The KA is too short as well, gap along the top.

I had the same issue with a VFC Hk416 AEG body. Ended up getting a JG dustcover that just fit after going through four other ones that didn't.

This websites states only CA dust cover - the only reference to dust cover to be used on this upper that I have seen.

http://jagprecision.com/store/index....cc821765f1tlk6

Says CA charging handle but I have a KA and it works fine.

Update: Mod the hinge on the dust cover.

Unroll the dust cover hinge a little the using a spare hinge pin. Hammer the hinge back around the pin. I was able to get mine to line up a little better this way. However it still will not latch so it solves the look but does not restore function.

I have the noveske upper from madbull for the two pin ca body. I used the dust cover from the old upper and it seemed to work fine, no gaps, butit doesn't want to latch so the spring is reversed like mentioned above.

Right from the lips of MadBull - The Echo 1 M4 Dust cover.

To get a working dust cover takes a little work. I used the MadBull charging handle with a King Arms handle arm. The problem is with the King Arms handle arm stops closing of the body since the hump on the top of the arm gets in the way. Trim off the hump flush with the top (ungroved side) of the arm. The next part is to trim a little off the dust cover release. The King Arms one is to big and too thick. So mod the dust cover release little by little until it doesn't push on the gear box or hop-up but still has enough to push the dust cover release pin.
