Viking tactics forever : you need extra parts to cover it completely but URX is a pain to install and keep aligned.

I just picked up a Madbull 9" TRX to go most of the way over the suppressor of my 7" CQD. I'll let you know how it goes after I install everything.

I've also installed a G&P URX on a teammate's M16, so I can do a quick comparison of the airsoft versions, at least.

parts to cover it? You mean like rails?

Part of the beauty of the Troy/VTAC TRX is that you can keep a VERY low profile with a bit of modification to you accessories for them to fit flush on the handguard.

Honestly though if you're going to spend $ on the URX III, get the 3.1 instead. Much nicer and pairs better with a 14.5 barrel.

DD also has a lite rail of their own called MFR

Noveske is bringing out the NSR

both of them will have a Madbull counterpart (I know you are looking for RS parts but might be worth it to check it out).

alright, after so much reading, I decided wait for the kac urx3 rail, meanwhile I'll use a madbull clone for my 13' built for now. again, thanks everyone for your information.
