I'm going to Hong Kong in the summer

and I'm thinking of getting the following:

magpul Pmags (no fake bullet window)
slings and sling mounts

and masada mock suppressor and VFC suppressor for mp7a1

are suppressors still a touchy subject for bringing across border?
they're obviously fake.....

I'm a noob , please don't hate
Thanks

Go for it. Just make sure the suppressor is disassembled (metal tube with screwoff caps) to be safe.

So the infamous reputation of ASC precedes its comments I see.

And yes they should be fine.

Real silencers are banned.

Not fake ones.

If they bug you about them, show them the package and that it's a non-functionning replica with foam that would melt if used with a real gun.

Just a warning on the suppressor. Make sure you don't have other metallic objects inside the tube after you have taken it apart and it's in your luggage. Sex Toys, & Flashlights look like pipebombs to dumb security screeners and the mock suppressor may fall into that category.

Now I'm a little concerned, eHobby has updated their FAQ website stating

"I live in Canada. Can I order airsoft guns and silencer??

We ship airsoft guns to Canada. However, importing silencer to Canada is illegal. If we find your order included silencer, we will take it out and ship the remaining items. A refund will be made for the silencer."

hmmm...Is this a cause for concern ?

Thats cause sometimes CBSA will keep a suppressor for reviewing if you order it over the internet, They more than often are released after they realize it is truely an airsoft. It will get through and if it gets confiscated bring the package and receipt. Show them its mock. If that doesn't work call of write your local CBSA office and log a complaint.
