Best goggle for the 2012 season?
What would be your take? With or without fan?

I love the ESS V12 Advancer, got mine for less than 70$ with 3 lenses (Clear, smoked and yellow).
Airflow is very good, it is low profile, and quite light. If you want something lighter, you can try Bolle cobra ( http://www.bolle-safety.fr/Cobra--5170.html ) but I got fog with a stormy/wet weather. Not (or really less) with V12. FYI, I use fogtech most of the time.

Their site is confusing as hell... worst site ever. I like goggles with the fan. My goggles usually don't fog up unless it gets really hot, so I like the insurance of knowing I will never have a fogging problem. You can buy all the fan parts on ebay and wire a custom fan rig for under 5 bucks! 25-30mm fan (whatever fits) will have way more power than those dinky fans that are built into goggles. And it clears out fog FAST. Also provides a bit of cooling on those hot days lol! Last edited by SMIC4; April 2nd, 2012 at 12:52.. |

They're not posted on their site yet - probably waiting for a shipment or something but I love these types of goggles. I have a narrow small head so these usually fit very well - currently rocking some wiley-x's that look very similar to these. ^^^ Those Boogie Regulator's are pure sex. My goodness me. Huge bonarrr Last edited by Rabbit; April 2nd, 2012 at 13:09.. |

I use ESS profile turbofan + anti-fogging coating and I'm satisfied. I tried several non-fan goggles and even if you are using anti-fogging spray these are not good. I prefer a fan goggle over a non-fan model.

Revision only way to go . Have both sawfly and destert locust without fan foam removed best eye protection I invested in. Army issue has them for almost half price comes with case and two lenses antifog wipes. I don't think he has them posted on his site but they are always in store.
Regards
