New 2012 G&G MIT intelligent tracer!

Hi guys ! So, I was browsing airsoftnews.fr's website, and I found this!:

Looks awesome, although the laser is unfieldable, it's still awesome!

It look quite promissing. The possibility to shoot target at a range that airsoft gun will never be able to hit. The only downfall of this product is everyone on the field will need to have the sensor or this devise will be useless. Maybe a good start could be a game where there is 1 or 2 sniper with this "silencer" and a VIP with the sensor. In any case I`ll definately buy it to test it as soon as it become available.

Coolness

That does have a WOW factor to it. Looks cool, but is it practical?

If you're playing laser tag, what's the point in shooting a BB?
Dumb idea I think.

Kind of my thoughts, if I'm gonna be playing laser tag it might as well be full out with MILES gear etc.

that display on the side is going to make you a beacon for anyone running NVGs, hell even for those not running NVGs.
they need to drop the flash/strobe. it uses way too much power to run, and isn't as affective as a simple high output UV LED, and the flash is visible by who ever you are shooting at.. what good is shooting at your target when they can see when you are shooting at them.
a HUTU with an on/off or momentary on switch is far better than any silencer type tracer unit, as you can choose to fire tracers on the fly.

I like that they are trying new things....gotta give them that.....but i really only seeing it good for scenario games where a sniper is trying to take out a designated vip from long distances and such........at least those are my thoughts........it would be cool if they had the counter deal and could put it on those Aleins pulse rifle kit haha

I like it because it's a small portable chrony.

Other than that I can definitely see it being used for snipers to kill VIPs... because it doesn't get in the way of shooting normal BBs.

I'm more interested on news on the detector now.

The laser is for calibrating the hopup - so you can point it at a target at a known distance and see where your BB's land relative to that.
