Speaking of "Bullpup"...
Is this correct? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...wn/bullpup.jpg
heres the html...I dont know if these forums allow html, but here it is, just in case: ....or UBB, it would seem... |

Basically correct, althought I'd have to see the internals of a real P90 to confirm.
The guy you argued with in the other thread is an idiot. |

His explanation is correct. But in each case, he drew the barrel lengths too long. Barrels start in front of the mag. How can a cartridge load if the barrel extends 5 inches behind the mag?

He included the chamber and action into the lenght of the barrel. No biggie. Still a decent drawing to explain the concept.

"he" being "me"
I made this to explain to someone, and I just wanted to make sure that I had the right idea...and yeah, after looking it over again, I realize that the barrel lengths are too long. btw, for the P90, the mag is on the top of the gun...you can see where the back of it is...using that for reference, you can make a pretty good judgement on barrel length (again, I drew it too long, but still...). |

I must say that there are a few things I dont like about he P90, but most of those are personal preference.
I find the gun awkward, the hicap mags deeply suck, and I dont like the small battery. Otherwise, mechanically, it appears to be just fine. |

Well, I expect to eventually do up some sort of other battery, I dont plan on EVER using hi-cap mags, and I think overall its cool as fuck. as you said, personal preference.

P90 battery options are pretty much either mini, J-style (which I'm selling right now, search for it) or a stock extension for an AUG-style battery. If you want to stick to minis, I would STRONGLY recommend an Eagle Force motor. You'll notice a big increase in ROF and the strength of spring you'll be able to pull.

I don't really like the "wasted space" working, specially with a pic of the PSG-1 up; the adjustable buttstock is very utilitarian. What i heard from an Aussie regarding the AUG was that not everyone particularly liked having their face millimeters from the ejection port, either.

well, the "wasted space" was just an illustration of the point of bullpups. sure, maybe for the PSG-1, that is necessary, but the point was just to show how that space has a SPECIFIC, mechanical purpose in bullpups.

Has anyone tried the Eagle Force motor? How does it perform comparing to the Systema motors?

The eagle force is a good alternative to systema motor, as long as you are not using M140+ springs or you want to have ROF 30+/sec. compare with eg1000, it eats up less energy and spins faster. The systema is really fast and high torque, but also very "hungry" for electricity. I would only recommand to use systema motors if you use 2400mah 10.8V large battery. |
