Rockmount (Harris) Bipods

I can across a chinesse copy of the Harris Bipod made by a company known as "Rock Mount." I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with these bipods? The chap in the store said that Harris' patent ran out and that they were a very good copy of the real deal. Any thoughts?

Cheers, Brent

I have two of the Rockmount pivoting bipods, and they are VERY good! Have only had them on my rifles a couple weeks, gamed with them twice so far, they work well. I'd recommend the 6-9" one, as it's compact, gives you a lower profile, yet can be extended. My previous expereince? The POS CA bipod that kept breaking, getting fixed, anotehr part would break, got fixed, more broken parts, more fixing, said screw it. Get the Rockmount, very much worth the money!!!!!!!!

Just a question that might help you get it mounted, what gun do you plan to mount it on?
