Problem Solved mods can delete
Ok I just purchased my self a charger from an RC car store, but I'm not sure it'll charge my battery.
Its a PF-12 Park Flyer AC/DC peak charger, the guy at the store suggested it to me, so I got it. The problem is it only charges up to 2000mA when my battery is a 3000mAh battery. Will that effect the battery in anyway? Also the instructions that came with the charger, say to charge a Nimh battery for the first 5 times at half the capactity, but after that to charge it at 1.25 times the capactity, but the charger won't go that high. So should I return the charger or can I use it? Thanks for the help everyone Ian

It wouldnt matter about the 2000mAh and the 3000mAh, you can charge the 3000 at the 2000mAh leve (2 amps).
Im not to sure about the instructions but when I got my two ni-mh's i charged them at full then trickled for 4 hours, they work like charms now. |
