Indeed. I eventually swapped out the hopup unit for a different ones and still had some fitment issues with the PMAGs, but fewer issues.
I have a bunch of M4s so I'm not too sad if one mag type doesn't work in a given gun, but for a budget player, I'd encourage some testing first.
