thats the ejection port, where the real P90 ejects empty casings. on the real one it opens and closes with the cycling of the carrier.

It's also designed for easy attachment of a catch bag. To police your brass with ease Pretty smart design. All runs should be build with bottom ejection these days. Left or right ejection can screw up fire lines All thought down has issues as well
