I've heard nothing but good things about the 'MAG' M16/M4 Midcaps.
I believe they hold between 90 and 120 bbs. You can pick up a box of 8 of them for around 40 USD, however I'm not sure about Canadian import laws so it might cost a bit more. |

I have tried the mag reel feel metal mags 190 rnd. They are nice but once you get loading them past say 120 rnds feeding issues happen
King arms metal mags are pretty good 130 rnd but again loading past say 120 and problems occur One mag i was surprised by the quality (and not in a good way) was real aword 120 rnd m4 mags. They are metal mags but the plastic inner part is split in the middle so when trying to load the mags the plastic parts seperate a bit which causes bbs to double stack at the same level thus jams occur frequently For guns i have Ics l85 and real sword type 97 that do m4 mags. I find the real sword 97 to be pickey. I have also had a tavor, vfc scar, ca body m4 with madbull hop, each with pickeyness problems Mags i have tried Lonex 300 rnd hicap pull string winder - works with the l85 and realsword good mag feeds nice Mag reel feel 190 rnd -loved these mags. Had issues with filling to capacity with jams. If filled to about 120-130 rnds all was fine. Worked in tavor and l85. As well as the ca body m4 once the madbull hop unit was installed King arms metal 120 rnd - good mags. Inconsistant backbone size has some fitment issues with the type97 magwell. But the 12 i have that do fit are good 2 years of use and going strong Some have issues when you get to the last 5 bbs in the mag the stop. Perhaps that is spring preasure issues but good mags... Work in tavor, l85, ca m4 pre and post madbull hop and for most part the type97. Realsword 120 / says 130 on the box but who is kidding who - nice feel but inner works quality is crap mag inners seperate causing bbs to double stack on the same row. Once you try to put over 110 bbs in them. I usually stopped filling at 100 or so If you do that then all good things will happen. Works with the l85 and type97. Tight fit etc I am not into plastic mags much. I have tested the mag plastic and the ka plastic and would only recommend the KA variety in plastic. Hope that helps |
