Need a Little help. I am new to the forums
I have been looking around on here for a parts wanted thread but you do not have one. You do however have guns wanted and is not what I need, I am posting this to see if i can find info on local places or people i can pick up the parts i needs. I do not need or want them new. If I wanted them new I know I could buy them from one of many retailers on here.
v3 mech-box (gear-box) ether complete or just the housing. does not need to be complete or working. I cracked mine well moving. A dresser fell on my aeg during the moving and pierced the hard-shell case and cracked the receiver and mech-box. I also need low-cap ak47-ak74 mags of the stars brand or similar. I am 25 so being of age is not an issue and I also have my pal, restricted and non-restricted so firearm safety knowledge I have. Thanks hope to find help soon. |

There is a wanted parts and accessories section under the wanted part of the forum. You will need to be aged verified to access those sections however.

Yeah I see that. I over looked it trying to find what I need. I would much rather find Local people to pick it up from. I am just frustrated with myself for not strapping the dresser down. I also destroyed my ARES DSR. Ruined my month. Parts are hard to find.

Contact Airsoftparts.ca...(or PM Jugglez on the forum, he owns/operates the shop). The last King Arms V3 complete mechbox I picked up from him was very nice.
He's located in Toronto, and ships everyday...so you should end up getting your mechbox really quickly. |

Thank you, this is most helpful. If i have to buy new I will. I am more so upset about the DSR though. I dont know how I can fix it. I might just take it apart and keep the good and wait to build a new one.

He's got complete mechboxes..."nice" ones like the King Arms...and "ok" ones like Action. He's also got just the shell and every individual part to go in it.
Re. fixing your ak/v3...while it may seem cheaper to just buy the shell and try to move all your parts over, it can be a real pain in the a$$ sometimes. Sometimes it's a snap and it all goes smooth the first time...other times you just feel like junking the whole thing it's so frustrating. Which ever route you go... - try not to mix and mash different makes/brands of parts within the mechbox/shell. As "standard" as they are...there's lots of differences. - it's nice to eventually end up with a spare mechbox that you know runs...then when you have issues down the road, you aren't all stressed out about getting your gun up and running. Also...you can fiddle with the spare mechbox to figure out how to shim/setup different parts without taking down your gun. If you like models/mechancial type things...you might really like messing around with mechboxes. - avoid bottom-barrel parts...they tend to be off-spec and hit-miss. Some parts might work fine...others might look ok, but not work in your setup. In general...a waste of money/time. Re. your DSR...you're going to have to do a lot of research and fiddling. |

I would Like to just get a stock one from a Kraken in it for now. just to keep it running then save up money as I only have about 80$ to spend. I need mags as well.
My DSR there are little to no parts. New outer Barrel New inner Barrel New Cover and rail system New grip New Optical unit New Charging Handle Im just going to box it up and put it away and forget about it for now. |
