Wow. Fairly loud, I'm guessing? I used to make similar ones from miniature air bombs. (Packs of 12 for 3$) otherwise known as canadian rockets, or bottle rockets. But they were deemed to loud by the site owner.

The large air bombs are what we used way back when we came up with the concept, and did lots of testing for pattern and power. Very loud, very cool, and at times we'd get the occasional pea hitting someone 40ft away, but most of the time they were more about the fun and the stress of a grenade rather than actually trying to get a kill with. Funniest times are throwing it during a firefight, hitting a tree, only to have it come back at us, running for cover and laughing.
