Recording Radio Transmissions & Radio Output Splitter?
Hey ASC,
After purchasing 3 ContourHD's to use for Airsoft, I feel like adding radio transmissions into my videos but I'm unsure how. How would you record the audio from a radio? Is there a splitter device for Kenwood, or PTT jacks or something? Ideas?

It'd probably be faster and easier, just to set up a second walkie-talkie, with an voice recorder next to it, to record all the transmissions in game, then go back in your movie editor to match up the audio w/ the video from the ContourHD.

Where is the mic/line in on a contourHD?

Get an adequate radio to receive the same transmissions you'd receive on your main comms. A cheap radio will only do half the job, unless you're using a cheap radio to start with. lol |
