VFC + RS Spec Rails = No Go?
Hi,
I have a VFC KAC 600m rear sight, but it doesn't quite stick to my WE M4's top rail. Is this due to the WE's rail or the sight's base? Thanks, Gabe

Rails on We are good, and to milspec, all my RS accessories lock on snug, maybe not so much on the VFC sight.

I guess that means no RS Daniel Defence RIS unless I'm planning to shell out $200+ for a real KAC front sight, heh. Thanks for the input Brian.

Go to Canadian Tire and buy a small file (the triangular type) and a can of flat black paint.
I think you can figure out the rest on your own. edit: this is the one i use http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en along with a regular flat file if needed. edit 2: unless you meant the VFC sight is too loose no matter how much you tighten it..? In which case you just need some electrical tape to "shim" the inside surface of the sight (the angled part).

Yeah it's too loose. Not a bad idea, although it may not take much of a beating that way. Will try, thanks.

I've done it with a few airsoft mounts: the rubbery electrical tape gets squished between the rail and the inside face of the mount and it won't budge.
Unless you have a huge gap going on it should be rock solid.
