Sometimes it is good to ask. I am sure Huang will take care of you on issues like these. He has no control of the China design and qc.
Some people bring their guns (cased) to airsoft stores to verify fitting before buying. |

Never said it was rude, just not nicely said.

The rail is exact 7''. I think the issue maybe the madbull barrel nut probably 2mm longer thant the stock one.Hence there is small gap between the rail and the ring.
This rail 's stock barrel nut fits AEG only which is bit smaller than the GBBR. |

I've compared the barrel nuts for Daniel Defense rails.
Basically, the Madbull one is smaller which will work on GBBRs. The AEG clone ones are longer a bit to fit AEG barrels. If you throw on the AEG barrel nut onto the WE GBBR, the barrel will be loose. As for the front end cap as I stated before. It won't fit on the DD Mk18 rails period. This is the RS version. Notice no end cap. Basically, remove the end cap, and keep your triangle sight. |

I measured mine, and it was 7.5"... hmm..
Also to Lanny, there actually is no real version of this rail, it's a shortened MK18 RIS II but what you have in the picture is a DD 7.0" Lite Rail.

Mine is also 7.5" in length.. I measured mine at Huang's store and when i got home. Both the included barrel nut and the one from madbull works perfectly.. the only thing about this rail is that the threads strip really easy and may not align with the rail of your upper receiver. So I highly suggest that you do not install/uninstall the screws repeatedly. Might need to modifiy it to make it fit better.

I have a Madbull MK18 9.5"rail that does not line up with the receiver rail either. But the threads are precise and tough. Had the rail off many times and no sign of wear.
I run the Magpul flip up sights. If you like the stock triangle sights, there are triangle mounts for a rail as well. Last edited by SuperHog; October 12th, 2011 at 17:10.. |

I found huang's copy doesn't line up with the receiver but the Madbull one (Daniel Defense Licensed) lines up perfectly. I have huang's MK18 9.5 rail and Madbull's 12.5". A bit disappointing since the whole point of this rail system is to get an uninterrupted upper.
Be warned. Last edited by Nortus; October 12th, 2011 at 18:47.. |
