KSC Glock 17/18C: Slide recommendation

Hey Guys

So.. I'm trying to figure my next slide is going to be for my KSC Glock 17 and 18C.

I ordered the PGC G17 and G18C in Black and I just received the G17 Slide a few days ago, G18 Slide still in the mail.

Not really impressed with the color of the PGC G17 Slide and I'm assuming the G18C slide will have the same finish and color. I hope not though.

It's weird because the Barrel is Black but the Slide is tinted Green/Grey while it is advertised as Black. Very upsetting because the slide color really clashes with the Black Frame.

It's really hard to tell in pictures but when you see it in person you'll immediately notice the odd color.

So now I'm trying to find an alternate slide for the G17 and G18C. I don't want go ahead and spend more money on two slides and really be disappointed again.

That's where the cool members here on ASC can help
I need recommendations and things to consider when recommending a slide are:

Availability: What good is a slide if I can't get a hold of it. I've been looking around on online shops and the only two I see are from PGC and G&P. Others I've heard about are ProG4 and Shooting Design but do not know where to find those.

Quality: Color has to be Black... I don't mind it looking slightly grey but dark grey to match the dark frame. PGC slide has a greyishness to it but with green, something I can't accept. Finish and quality of the metal has to be good. The PGC slide has a very nice build and the only beef I have with it was the color.

Weight Something light so the cycling does not get affected.

Installation: Nothing too complicated I hope. Drop in fit would be ideal.

Price Value Ratio I know slides vary in price and I'm cool with that. But if a slide is going to cost 150$ it better fit like a glove, cycle properly, be the right color and have a nice quality finish.

So what do you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance for posting

Its really hard to find, but a Prime/Boomarms slide would be slick for the 18c. Einsatzkommando (sp?) trademarks!!

I think the shooters design ones are decent, from what I've heard.

I also heard PGC were goo too until I got a hold of mine.

Can you tell me a bit about the Prime/Boomarms slide? Hows the color finish and the quality? Also difficulty installing along with price?

Thanks

If it wasn't for the hint of green I'd be really cool with this slide. I absolutely love the matte feel when holding this slide. The barrel is extremely smooth too. I just wish they were both the same color.

Thanks

Edit: wait I just took a closer look and that looks like a Black Slide to me. Anyone have anymore info on this slide?

Edit 2: Found a bit of info on the slide

Description:
Will fit KSC Glock 17 Gas Blow Back Pistol
Weight: 255g
Material: Steel (Made by CNC)
Color: Black

That is a heavy slide. It is double the weight of the PGC slide. Not sure how it will affect the cycling of the gun

I don't think you realize a real steel Glock has slightly different coloring for frame and slide as well...

Who cares?

Oh yhaa? Does a real steel Glock have a similar greenish look to the slide? I'm talking about the Black one of course. I've never held a real Glock in my hands before so I don't really know.

When it comes to airsoft, I like my gun to look a certain way, I'm sure many others do too. Color is important to me. Other people may not care but I do
