Would Magpul XTM rail panels work with an ICS M4 commando?

Hi, yeah the title says it all, but would Magpul XTM rail panels (will provide picture of rail panel and my rifle after) work with my ICS M4 Commando? I planned on painting my rail guards at first but I found the picture I'm about to show you and figured that looked way better than what I had originally planned.

Should, yes. Tolerances of some guns/rails might be slightly off though.

Well then, looks like I'm ordering like 5 sets of each color. x]. and also, my M4 came with a battery I've never seen before (ICS 9.6V 2000 mAH NiMH EP Battery) and the second time I charged it, I put it in my gun without even knowing how hot it was and before you know it, my stock was smoking and all I could smell was fried plastic, now the gun seems to be working perfectly fine after this happened and has continued to work since that happened after July 10th but I just wanted to know what would cause such a thing to happen, either to repair the battery or replace it and use it as my spare.

If you are using the ICS provided battery charger, it is because the charger is an unregulated, non-trickle charging after fully charged item. In other words, you either unplug the charger once the battery starts getting warm, or the battery starts over-charging, and gets real hot. The ICS charger is a good way to burn out batteries - get another one with auto-shutdown/auto-switch to trickle charge capabilities.

I have quite a bit of questions now, help as much as you can. I will post links to all of the things I mention in the next couple minutes hopefully it all helps. The link to the XTM rail panels tells me there's 4 different color variations, Black, Flat Dark Earth, OD Green and Foliage, what's foliage? and what's flat dark earth? Do the colors in the pictures match the colors available to order because it looks like I'm ordering two of the XTM rail panel's color variations tomorrow, but eventually I will order the other two.Which colors do you think would best suit my Commando (pic in first post.) Be aware that I am looking into getting a tan handgrip also do I have to stick to using ICS parts because my rifle is from ICS? or could I let's saaaay, use a G&P Military Sniper Target Grip For M4 / M16, which I will post a link to after, would it work on my M4 Commando? I'm getting a tan buttstock aswell but I'm not sure where to find one due to my wierd contact pad battery (does anyone know about these? which buttstocks are compatible with them and my M4) Maybe I'll find one when I get AV'd if I find out which ones will work with my rifle. AND lastly which foregrip would you guys recommend? I'm open to any vertical grip you guys suggest and I'm looking into those triangle grips but I'm not sure if I'd like the feeling of them. One quick possible question, would the handgrip (the one I'll link to) make it through customs considering it's from Evike? Or can I not ask this question in this thread topic. Anyway, here's the links.
