Finally got my first GBBR! WE M4 CQBR!

Hi everybody! Just dropping by to greet all my fellow airsoft canada members ^^ Just wanted to drop by and introduce myself My name is Francis and I live in Toronto but I'm currently in Hong Kong for a vacation ^^

I finally got my first GBBR in Hong Kong (at a store in mong kok...Operation ProShop) Its awesome! seems to be pretty accurate. Although there is an annoying problem. Everytime i shoot one bb out of the barrel and then the gun automatically chambers the next round, if i point the gun downwards the bb falls out! I'm bringing it back to the store to have it checked out but other than that, its awesome!

I hope to be able to talk to everybody here about my M4 and their choice of weapons in airsoft! Bye bye

No problems man, hope you enjoy your WE. Its actually the most widely used gbbr in Canada too. They are great fun.

Thank you! I asked the person who works at the airsoft store "which gun has the most potential to upgrade and most parts for repairs" and he said this WE M4 is the most common. I'm completely new to rifles so i just prayed his words were true

Did you mean out of all airsoft guns or gbbr? The WE has tons of parts to upgrade it with, most of them are just steel versions if the stock parts however. Expect to have to perform regular service and maintanance on it, just like the real thing. After a while parts will wear out and will need to be replaced, but one of the greatest things about the WE gbbr is that the parts are relatively inexpensive and the mechanism is pretty simple to do the repairs yourself.

I asked the staff "Which GBBR is the most common with wide access to parts and upgrades" and he said this is the gun for me. He didn't want me to buy anything too expensive and said this beginner gun should be a good introduction gun.

thank you! i tried increasing the hop-up by approximately 5 full clockwise turns, but that hasn't helped. The guy at the store keeps like a pretty cool guy. He told me to stop throwing in so much money on my GBBR to try to fix things and to go to a field game with them to really see what my GBBR is missing. He also mentioned trying to zero-in your gun at 10 meters is no fun because most field game combat happens within 20 to 30 metres. I hope i can join them one day! Thanks for your input everybody : )

You should go on a Hong kong airsoft forum for advice on Hong kong style play in Canada we tend to zero our hopup to longer range because we have space to have long range firefights.

Yes i have to The guy told me they normally engage within 20 to 30 meters of each other. I'm dying to go play with them but I'm scared they'll yell at me if i can't shoot to save my life...
