We "g39c" magazine parts??
Hey guys,
I was out at a game recently and went a little rough on one of my WE G36C gas magazine. As a result, I broke the lip feed and smashed up the plastic shell incasing the gas chamber and internals. The internals are fine though. =) Been looking around and I can't seem to find any replacement parts other than the lip feed from airsoftbuddy.com, which is out of stock. I'm assuming that the market is still pre-mature so not alot of these replacement parts are floating around. However, if anyone knows where/how I can get ahold of these parts, please advise. Thanks!! |

Canadian distributor of WE , he may have parts, but I expect you are looking at replacing the mag

Replacing the mag would probably be a bit cheaper too considering the amount damage your mag took... And if you do that you could probably salvage a few spare parts or of your mag such as the fill valve and the knocker valve

Great, thanks for the help guys.
I just spoke to Velocity Arms, they said spare parts for the WE G39C magazines should arrive by late-spring/early-summer. |

the WE G39 magazines are a hot commodity right now, short supply from most retailers.... I was afraid I'd see a post like this eventually... but for the most part the plastic shell is built well. it's too bad the Magpuls and g36-specific ranger plates never went to production, for at least that would have provided some sort of shock absorption during a high-speed reload where the operator was forced to let the mags drop straight to the ground.

Also remember to remake the seals. All the mags I got leaked from factory or after one or two games.
I make one seal, no leak for 10 games and going on... crappy design & co. |

how would you go about remaking the seals?

Myself I completely remove the factory ones, put some silicon seal, let dry a bit so it solidifies then close back, work perfectly so far.
Normally people don't remove the original seals but given their size a non leaking mag is more because of God's will than anything else (and I don't believe in it either). |
