Motor question

Hi everyone. I have some problems with my gun lately. Last game it just stop shooting without a reason, but after some time start again. That was happening few times. Start checking my gun - it shoots, and than stops. So - unscrew motor from mech box (to make sure internal parts have no affect on it) and I can see 10.5 V on a motor when trigger pressed. Sometimes it start working, sometimes not. No smell, no burned areas... Please help - hate missing games...

Brand of gun?
Any upgrades?
Brand of motor?
Have you checked all your wire connections to make sure they are secure?

Real Sword. Upgrades - SCS and tight bore. Real Sword motor. Wires are fine, plus power is on a motor already.

When it stopped did you try to direct feeding (jumping) the motor to see if it's the trigger switch?

Yes - it looks like motor. It can start, or not. But if it start rotating, you can trigger. After is stops - most probably it would not start again...

Have you been playing in the rain/water a lot with this gun?

m102404 - very nice instruction. Thanks. I end up thinking about motor because of following reasons:
1. I see power is on the motor.
2. Even if unscrewed from mechbox it doesn't always start up.
3. To be 100% sure, I try to use some external power sources, and motor still could be running or not.

I hoped it is not a motor, because no smell or burning areas, but loks like it is dead....
Any way - thanks for instructions (and I still owe you a beer for PX888 manual programming instructions)

No - no rainy games so far.

If you're up to it...you could do some research into rebuilding motors and try to fix it. If the magnets/bearings are toast...might not be worth it (and may never work).

If you're going to toss the motor...I know a guy who'll be at TTAC3 tonight who would like to have to so he could fiddle with it for interests sake *cough, cough, nudge, nudge, wink wink*
