A little bit of a threadjack, but I have been wondering what is carried in those two utility pouches on the front of the CF tac vest..? Anyone in the CF know the 'official' regulations on that? link

On course they usually get you to put some misc shit in there

At units there is usually a Kitlist, but it is more of a guide. It really comes down to personal preference.

I think on course and on some unit SOPs it's something like have a pair of gloves in one with cam paint, BFA, and the other one has a field dressing and latex gloves.

The only thing that is truely standard is where your IFAK is when you go on tour. On my tour it was on the right side of your body(when worn)

i recalled having to at one point, shove a field dressing, isreali field dressing, gloves, TQ, gauze, and i think there was some other crap in there too.
other pouch was like bfa, cam paint, bug juice, sling, and some other stuff to (what? i've been out for like eight months now bugger off)

Nice thread. It is interesting to know what everyone carries on them during a game.

I like to keep it real simple.

RRV vest:
5 midcaps (120 rounds each) +1 hicap (450 rounds) for backup
200 round speed loader
Pocket knife
Spare bb's
Flashlight
basic first aid kit
1 spare pistol mag
small tool kit
Cell phone
Radio
Bottle of water.

I don't do any major ops, so this set up works fine for me at this time

I have a Phantom RRV:
-3 Double M14 Pouches: I replaced my M14 with a G3 but the mags still fit nicely in them, I usually have 5 mags in pouches, 1 in gun so I use my last pouch to hold my kill rag.
-Admin Pouch(sharpie, eraser and a little map of the indoor place I play at and a leatherman c33x)
-Wolf Hook sling attached to my RRV
-Ranger beads
-Radio pouch
-Back Panel, with attached Hydration pouch and a utility pouch( extra bb's, speed loader, and for bigger games some food)
Then I carry a triple 40mm grenade pouch for my USP mags, and a dropleg dump pouch and holster on my belt.
