Pictures of uniforms with this vest?

Where would I find more pictures of uniforms that use the type of vest worn by the left-most figure in the picture below? I've tried searching for USMC and so on (on Google and ASC), but I've only been able to scrounge up only a small handful of pictures that have someone wearing that vest. Anyone know what it's called and why only some soldiers are wearing them in various pictures? Much thanks!

Also on the left here in this picture:

Google Molle II and you'll see alot :P (I think there are tons of replicas and real ones on ebay)

It's a Load Bearing Vest.

That's the MOLLE II FLC (Fightning Load Carrier) in Woodland.

Much thanks. Googling for "MOLLE II FLC" provided me with a lot of great pictures of the vest -- but not many of soldiers (or people in general) wearing them.

kaiu, those pictures are great, but actually those are the ones I was referring to in my first post. Thanks though, I'm wondering if there are any more?

Why exactly isn't this vest seen in more pictures (or on the field; real or airsoft)? I've noticed I really haven't seen an OD MOLLE II FLC used with a MARPAT uniform like the 'concept' picture I gave in my first post.

FLC is outdated...last in use in the early 90's. Still used a bit by Recon Marines though

You are wrong about that.

ALICE gear was used in the 90s and early 2000. Since then MOLLE came out along with the FLC.

You might be confusing the FLC with the older LBV-88

Most Soldiers, Marines, etc tend to wear their pouches right on their vest. You will still find pictures of Soldiers in Basic, AIT, etc wearing the FLC. Also it is worn by Students and Instructors in Ranger School, should be able to find pics of that, also try to find Surviving The Cut - Ranger School, you will see the FLC in use in that documentry/show.

For picturees try to find pictures of the earlier years of OEF(Afghanistan), probably 2003 on, also OIF(Iraq) for 2003 on. As that is when the vest was new and lots of guys wearing it.

I've seen a lot of surplus ones in woodland and 3 colour desert for anywhere form $35-$45. I picked up a 3 colour desert one. It's great vest. More than enough MOLLE space and very well made. Mine will get a lot of use this summer.
