I tried everything you guys said (with the exception of adding body armor). And i cant seem to get it any tighter than it already is. So do you guys think i should just dish out the money to buy armor to throw under it or just sell it and get something else?

As said...it should be comfortable to wear for extended duration but not constrict/restrict your range of movement. Load it up with mags/bits-pieces/radio/etc. A lot of rigs "hang" differently when full/partially loaded (i.e. weesatch/wasatch) and some are a PITA to keep taking on/off to adjust (i.e. CIRAS).

It should definitely not flop around if partially full and you're hauling ass. Some are not tied down to your belt....others are. If it doesn't move around on you and you can comfortably wear it and the pouches are always at hand when you reach for them...then it's a good fit.

Keep in mind that you're rarely wearing just a t-shirt...so make sure you're setting up with what you'll wear (i.e. t-shirt + ?warm layer? + BDU top + ?weather layer?).

Some guys like their pouches sewn in permanently...others like the options that MOLLE platforms offer. Some like light chest rigs...others vest/full-cumberbund setups. Completely up to you and your preference.

Certainly get out and use what you've got...at worst (or maybe best) it'll help you narrow down on what you're really looking for.

You could also consider getting an armor vest to go underneath of that for a more MILSIM look.

If your gonna get armor to throw under it just get a replica vest. The cost of a real one isnt worth it. Also, i wear body armor all day as part of my job, and at the end of my shift the greatest thing is getting to take it off. I wear it enough as is, so i wouldnt and dont wear one while playing airsoft. Save up for something like this: http://ascmart.ca/product_info.php?c...products_id=60

Fully modular, and holds fake SAPI plates for realism.

Dont listen to them! This is the easiest and most effortless fix.

The only thing I can recommend is putting more clothes on underneath, a jacket or something. But, of course, this presents the problem of getting too hot, just like with the fake body armour. :/ That's no good if you're playing a summer game.
