Thirded. My CZ never disapoints me, and they're some of the cheapest GBBs you can get in Canada. I think only about $240 at the retailers. Out of a TM 1911, TM hicapa, and a TM 5-7, I've always grabbed the CZ first when I need something that isn't going to disapoint.

i just recently picked up a glock 32, one of the kjw ones. honestly i love it, great weight to it, accurate enough for what i use it for...and i like the way the ported metal slide looks
honestly no idea why everyone hates on glocks so much

The CZ-75 is probably one of the nicest "ignored" pistols out there. They took a Browning High Power and improved it. DA trigger to match up with all the other wonder nines, a slide that runs inside the frame to boost accuracy and a really nice overall finish. Not a typical Warsaw Pact junker.
It's what they copied to make the Bren Ten, and if Vltor ever gets the Fortis made it'll be back in the public eye again big time.

Although there's a lot of steam behind the CZ 75 (which is sexy). I can relate from personal experience when I used an M11 as a "sidearm" for a few outdoor and indoor games it was with moderate success. It provided me with the ability to lay down a good volume of fire while I moved to better cover to bring my primary back online, and was fairly accurate in semi auto fire. I did however have considerable difficultly finding a suitable method of carry and eventually sold it and picked up a WA 1911 (this was a long long time ago) which served me well for quiet some time.
Not sure if you considered it but my m11 was a blast. |
