m4 outerbarrel dimensions

hello people
i know this may sound really odd and strange, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me diameter of the part of the m4 barrel where the front sights clamp onto.

I looking for the same answer...what is the outside diameter of a standard airsoft barrel
for a clamp on front sight...does anyone know..I searched already!

I got 2.5" circumfrence on the barrel, and 2" on the m203 mount. Give or take an 8th of an inch.

Lol, he wants diameter not circumference.
It's about 3/4 of an inch by the way.

2.5 / 3.14 = 0.796178344

He could have figured that out himself. Wanted to post the measurements that I took. Nice round numbers.

So that is 20.22mm...those are fucked up sizes...are they all that size?
Then I will have to custom machine some bushings up!

I didn't have a proper tape. Those are the best dimensions I can give. Probably not something to base machine work off of though.
