Pack ID request
Anyone know what pack the Airman on the right has on? Kinda looks like something SDS would make, but it's not listed on their site.

No prob!
There's no tie downs for radios of any sorts... the only hole is one at the top which is revealed by lifting a velcro tab (more of a slit really) I can easily fit my Camel Bak bite valve through the hole though. Inside there's on each side of the pack there's a little spot to put water bottles (elastic top) that could be used for smaller radios (might fit a 521). You can also fit a hydration bladder in behind where the straps tuck in.

Right on, thanks. Looks like a good pack, just wish it had more openings so I can use it for a 522/117F radio bag.

I haven't yet had the chance to see if a 522 would fit in it but most likely... only thing is nothing to hold it down... you might be able to fit the handset and the headset wires through that top hole though.
The straps are pretty comfy and there's enough of an opening at the bottom where the lower straps tuck in to fit a waist belt there...

Yea if you play around with it and bend the gooseneck and maybe mod that port a 522 it possibly could work, but looking at it, as it is right now a 117F would not work in that pack without modifications, ie making a new hole for the UHF antenna

The inside look well made for general purpose. With the bright layer for easely IDing your shit inside.
I love the internal bottle nets. I hate having to chase my Nalgene bottle at the bottom of my pack.
