After reading that I tried hard with My WE SCAR to cause a jam that way to no effect so Either the just the scar is ok or the WE brass tube system isn't effected by resting on the mag.

It'll be interesting to see if there is a difference between open and close bolt for WE, and if there is a difference to M4 vs SCAR due to their different design.

M4 I'd imagine might be more sensitive with everything being co-axial to start with and might be more prone to jamming with any sort of side force.
