CIRSS Vest + General Info

So I was looking to pick up one of the TMC Condura Land CIRSS Vests off EBB.
http://www.ebairsoft.com/cordura-lan...on-p-2467.html
And I just have some questions.

All of the pouches can be removed and modded the way I want right? it's not one of those vests where the pouches aren't interchangeable at all.

How is the quality?
Have any of you purchased one either from this site or a different one and can vouche for the quality? I know EBB has gotten a lot of good reviews from most of you, but I'm also finding a lot of bad reviews about the quality of the sewing job, the sling clip etc.

I would prefer to buy one from Canada, but I'm also having trouble finding a good website that has this kind of vest, for around the same price (I prefer it to have the sling on the front)

I'm guessing the mag pouches hold single mags not double right?
If anyone has bought this vest off EBB would you please be able to comment about the color of green it is, is it lighter or darker then usual OD?

And lastly, how's the shipping with them? Usual 2 weeks from asia? Or have any of you had better experiences with shipping from them?

Pretty much the same thing you are going to buy.

I love mine, but the mag pouches are small as hell. They are Supposed to hold 2 mags, but require alot of stretching.

You could just go and check them out at a store?
Poco Mil surplus carries condor stuff and ds tactical carries the real stuff.

@TheAngrySnipaa: No. Not the same at all.

@OP: I've never handled this CIRAS, but I've had other TMC items. For what I know, it's decent quality.

First of all, no matter what random name they gave it, the correct name is Land CIRAS.

As far as quality goes, stitching is solid, material seems to be real Cordura and it was mostly to spec (somme PALS weren't exactly the correct width, but most were OK. You can see the PALS are over it, so yeah it's MOLLE/PALS compatible (which means it's modular).

The biggest drawback I've had in TMC brand gear is that the PALS are very stiff, so I needed pliers to install pouches. But once installed, they hold up well.

I personally like the fact that the buckles were compatible with ITW/UTX MILSPEC.
That kind of pouch is always supposed, no matter the make, to hold 2 mags each. More often than not they are incredibly tight when you receive them, so just leave your mags in there when in storage and it will stretch over time.

For the integraded sling, it can be purchased for as low as 10-20$ separately anyway.

As for EBB as a shop, it's hit and miss. I've had orders that were shipped within 24h, others that didn't ship in a month because it was backorder and they didn't tell me (but I got it in the end). If you've got questions, I've usually had relatively helpful answers from their customer service, as long as you write a very basic english. Shipping time is about 10 days, but with customs it can be incredibly long and this has nothing to do with the shop.

Bottom line: you get what you pay for. I'd personally go with Pantac or Flyye (if you can't go real deal) but in this price range, it's does the job and should hold up for airsoft.

Hope that helps!

PS: Don't get butthurt if no one answers you... Of course you can make a bump after some time (just not every hour like some do) but sometimes people just don't have the answers, they click on the thread title out of curiosity, that's all.

Wow, thanks a lot Conker, that was very helpful. Do you happen to know the spec differences between the two vests by any chance? Does the added MAR to the front make that much of a difference?

and Lupo, I live within a 10min walk from Poco Military. That was the first place I went to. Right now they mainly have the harnesses and rigs. The vests they have are those little black SWAT ones that don't look like they would hold up very well.

Hi people...Im from Chile, so, mi english could not be enough clear for all of you...

Im agree with Conker.. I have that CIRAS model, but another colour (TAN)...and I think is the best quality you gonna get for that price...other brands (flyee, pantac) are more expensive than TMC...

About the pouches..I changed all of them and replaced for others (3x double magpouch for M4) SAW pouch Condor, 2 x double grenade pouch classic army, and utillity pouch without brand, jajajaja

About the time, they took about 2 weeks to send it from China to Santiago de Chile...

Bravo...
