Reusing bbs

Hi, I have a electric blowback pistol that shoots 150 fps, and i was wondering if i can reuse bbs,? I know i should'nt but it only shoots 150 fps so what harm can be done it not like its an aeg or something that has a high fps, and it also has a non-ajustable hop up.

~Thanks

Sounds like a disposable pistol.
Reusing BB's is never a good idea but with cheap stuff that is going to break anyway or you don't mind breaking, go nuts. (You're probably running crappy 0.12's with seams through it anyway right?)

Minute particles of dirt can be lodged on the BBs and reusing those bbs can bring that dirt in your pistol or aeg which can lead to problems in the near future

Picking them up off the ground is different than collecting them in a trap.

Though I don't ever recommend or suggest reusing BB's (other than with grenades), with your FPS that low, you might get away with it. ie. the impact force is so low that it's less likely to put cracks or deform a BB, but it doesn't mean it can't happen.

What kind of trap, what AEP and what kind of BB's are you using? Makes a bit of a difference here.

If it's a cardboard trap with crap BB's, then it's not going to do much worse than the crap BB's you started with. Look at the BB's and see if you notice any seams. Roll them on a flat surface and see how round they really are. If the AEP is a low end pistol, then chances are you're not loosing much running crap BB's through the hopup (if it has one) or the barrel.

You can reuse them, just collect them, put in a bowl, inspect thoroughly for damage, dents, cracks and then wash/dry afterwards. I've done that for years without problems, but isn't the best thing to do (now that BBs are so cheap and easy to get now). When I did it, was mostly with sniper rounds (more expensive and harder to get), or the occasional time where I didn't have enough BBs to load my mags for a game, and knowing one couldn't buy ammo at the game.

These products from Bastard Labs are designed to be reusable.

They are hard enough that they generally do not scratch or take damage if shot into a properly padded capture target, such as a cardboard box stuffed with burlap.

Those are Pearls, in .66g weight. The other two are Nites in .36g and the other option is Clears in .28g. Clears are the most inexpensive and are probably your best bet unless you're looking for super-heavy weights for accuracy.

Well CT BBs are shit to begin with, I'd NEVER use them in anything but grenades

I don't think his pistol could even spit those out of the barrel.
