Which would be a good loadout for me?

Based on the gear I currently own which would be an easy loadout to put together. Yes I am willingly to buy more things to add to my gear to complete the loadout. Its just that at the moment I just own a bunch of rag tag gear ive managed to collect over the past little bit. So here is a list....

-US woodland jacket
-Faded cadpat pants
-US tri-colour desert pants
-ACU pants
-marpat boonie hat
-desert combat boots

If by loadout you mean impression... Nothing.

You should at least try to get 1 complete BDU.

Maybe a "Walmart warrior" impression would work with what you have there

Thanks a lot man. I don't know if I was clear, but what I really meant, is there a piece or two of gear there that I could build a loadout around?

I don't know if it was clear .. but no... you got nothing..

but it does not really matter.. you gotta start somewhere.

I suggest you go out to a few games and see what you like.. most people will let you try on stuff.. maybe even borrow gear form people till you get a feel for what you like

You have a ragtag airsoft loadout.

Get some OD pants and jacket from your local surplus store to compliment your current airsoft wardrobe.

It's either I'm having a bad case of DejaVu or I've read this thread before somewhere.

Oh nevermind, it's just my imagination.

Just wear what you're comfortable with. Since when did airsoft become all about loadouts and less about the fun. Do what Brian says, go out to the games and see what others are wearing. If you don't want to do that, woodlands is usually a safe bet in most environments.

What you need is a type of Load Bearing Equipment (LBE), like a vest or chest rig to carry extra magazine and gear during games. Another useful item would be a hydration system, either a Camelbak or simple canteen to keep you hydrated in the field. And don't forget about goggles, the most important part. Paintball masks/goggles are a good first buy since they can be used at any venue safely.

Not sure if that's the info you were looking for, but that will give you a workable 'loadout'. Also, check out the FAQs- http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=58784

seeing how you have desert boots and a few desert uniforms I would personally pick between the ACU and DCU's and make a loadout with tan/coyote brown accessories. I personally like ACU not for its camouflage properties because it only works ok in most enviorments and terrible in woodland, but because the jacket has awesome features EX: velcro, zipper, and shoulder pockets. You could easily buy an ACU jacket or ACU combat shirt and a coyote brown vest and look decent for less than $100.00. As you go you can add things like shemaghs, knee pads, holster, headgear, etc. So thats my advice buy a ACU jacket and a vest to match your boots and youre golden...

Well, I haven't played in an actual game yet, but in my FPS games I like to play the role of Superfastmovingshooter guy, I usually use a pair of PDW's one as primary and one as backup, it allows me to be really quick, I think you should make your loadout like this as it is the best.

/sarcasm

Honestly dude, get the minimum you need to game with, go to a game and play. Then you can participate and see how you feel with just the basics and realize how much more weight you will feel comfortable with etc.

Getting out will also allow you to meet players of difference sizes and you can compare yourself and ask them how their kit works for them

if you play in a wooded area throw the cadpat and woodland on and buy a green or coyote brown vest/rig.
