well im waiting on another mag to test with, cause ive given the gun a check over everything and theres nothing out of place or damaged, so its gotta be mag related

How about the retention notch in the mag itself? would it be worn? Maybe the mag got knocked there and the notch is enlarged?
Dunno. Just offering possible suggestions, as it seems that your gun works fine when you press the mag in.

not "fine" so much as better, its still only getting 30 shots when you say you get over 2 mags

Oh... 30 shots... I don't know why, I read 50 in the last post. My bad dude. I can get 2 mags from propane, plus a couple of extra shots before it dies.
But 30 isn't bad. At least it means you can dump 1 mag with gas to spare. Although there's definitely something wrong.

30 shots is a good indicator. If pushing the mag upwards helps, I strongly suspect the mag rubber. I've shot some very old mags with worn retention notches which worked fine if they had a new rubber. With a torn rubber, they didn't do so well.

one word " plast-x " its a powererd plastick and a solvent / hardener once mixed the now liquid plastic can be aplied to compleatly bond broken plastic harder and stronger than oraginal.... check it out.
