Ballistic glasses for an asian face

Hi, I have a pretty large face with a flat/wide nose, and I was wondering what would be good options? I'm looking at the ess ice right now, and I'm wondering if they would just slide off my face? If yes, are there any other good options (relatively common so I can ebay them) because asian fit glasses are either rare or expensive on ebay because they're not very common.

I just bought some ESS Advance V12SR's and I'm really impressed with the quality and construction. They have a band attached right to the glasses. They are extremely comfortable and fully padded where it contacts the face. They also have adjustable vents for anti-fogging. Look them up on EBay I paid about $80 with shipping for clear ESS's.

I have a flat asian face too, most goggles dont curve around my head and cause a lot of pressure underneath the eye around the upper cheekbone area. I have not found a goggle that fits my face. I am curious about ess and revision's asian fit goggles, and if they are worth the price.

If you find something that works let me know.

I have the Asian fit ESS turbofan. It is worth the money.

The ICE glasses are not designed to flatter asian faces and they will sit poorly on your face unless you use the strap but then it's not comfrotable..

ESS Advancer V12 purchase from the UK via Ebay is good (cheapest) I paid 40 dollars shipped for a brand new never used set with all the lenses cleaning kit and carrying bag back in October. Doesn't fit asian faces either but it works more like a swim goggle so it's quite a bit lower profile without any vision loss.

If you already have a set of ESS goggles contact ESS directly and ask for a set of asian fit lenses. Putting those in will convert your existing goggles to the Asian fit.

Are you saying that the only difference between the normal goggles and the asian goggles is the lenses? I was looking on the site and it said something like the asian-profile (the ones I was looking at) would only work with asian lenses, so wouldn't that mean the normal profiles would only work with normal lenses?

I have read nothing but good about ess advancers so i got myself a pair (deluxe with the 2 extra lenses). Out of the box they do not work for my asian face. Like most goggles they have a gap from the middle of the lenses and the bridge of the nose, as well as putting all the pressure on the temple area. After about a minute under the blow dryer and being left under a box with some pressure, they feel like custom goggles. They now seal 100% and the only opening to the eyes would be the vents.

waiting on a pair of ess nvg to see how they fit.

I've heard of other guys heating them up to form them...did you do it with the lense in it or with the lense out?

Lense out. Thinking about it now, maybe lense in would be good to guarantee the only thing that shifts is the middle portion. Mine are fine though.

With a lot of the ballistic goggles the lense is pretty thick and defines a good portion of the curve/flatness of the goggles.

The thoughts about the downside of heating it up to bend/flatten it was the possible compromise to the integrity of the lense material.

Haven't tried it myself...the Bolle T800's seem to fit me pretty well.

Good thing i kept my lenses out of the heat.

Just got a pair of ess nvg. They fit like the advancers out of the box, so not very asian friendly. The frame of the goggles are rubber and pretty flopy when no lense is in. A different lense would change the whole goggle. Azaroth, if I contact ESS directly, will they send the different lenses if i send my regular ones or something like that?
