I will not tell ylou where to get guns because you are not AV'ed. But I will tell you not to get from Shootsoft. Do a search of the place. There are tons of reviews about the place. Not good ones either. Basically, the guy has nothing in stock, and when you make an order he orders it and he waits to get it, then you wait until he gets it so he can ship it to you. Thats why he has a 20 day waiting period.

Just stay away from Shootsoft entirely. Go to a local Hobby shop and they "should" have some knowledge on batteries/chargers. You can most likely purchase a decent charger from them...DONT buy Universal Chargers. Also get AV'd. It takes like a week or two to get access but it opens up such a bigger world. I also own a G&G MP5-A5...all i can say is...Dont purchase it.

I disagree with this. While it is not the best charger in the world they are well worth the price. A year later I moved on to a better charger but it filled its need while I used it and I still have it incase I need it or my expensive charger goes down. You do not need a $200 charger to start with.

Slow is right... And slow found out the hard way Around here those battery chargers have the nickname "The blue/black boxes of death" You know what they say -- You buy cheap, you buy twice. Spend the $70 and get a Piranha charger They're one of the best, most inexpensive chargers around. Last edited by Amos; July 18th, 2010 at 01:06.. |

10.8v is way to much juice for a stock gun, just be aware that you may be cracking the mechbox so replace worn gears/parts before long.
There are many reviews on this site, as well as new player guides. It's all easily found via the "advanced search" tool in the "quick links". Regarding not driving 5 hours to a game; this is a reality for many players, if there is no large group of players within that distance from where you live, what's the point of getting into airsoft if you are not looking to travel? |

Unless your going to put the time into doing some research then you will most likely be very disappointed. Find a model that you like and read some review(NOT Youtube ones). Find out what other people say(People that have played this sport for along period of time) about them.
