Know your audience
That's the bottom line when it comes to camo etc. If you plan to play to strict milsim rules etc then see what the team or style your area prefers to play with. Go to a game... see what is out there.
If the group is less unifrom and smaller then street clothes (black tshirt) and a set of woodland pants from Giant tiger will even do. It is just up to the community you are playing in. I am lucky enough to have both in the area. Just take your stuff with you and see if it's accepted and if not then use a merc look. Anyhoo man...most airsofters are good people and really deep down are just happy to play. but really ...just go to a game and check it out. It is well worth it to learn about the community. btw I would like chicken yellow for my "See Me" vest.

Camouflage Loadout
You can mix and match, but what is the point of camouflage if you are going to have something that is not camouflage to give you away. If anything you will be more easily seen. I did a full load out on BDU at www.predatorbdu.com in MultiCam since I like to travel for different battles.

Do whatever you want, if other people have a problem with it they're probably douchebags.
