THat's pretty damn extreme. A hairdryer has always worked for me. Not to sound condescending but are u sure ur turning it the right way?

I am not sure. I have a bunch of other guns, and just to make sure I compared it with a CA M4 and made sure I turned them both the same way. I was. However the M4 hider came off (I've taken off 4 of my epoxied flashhiders). The 249 didn't. When I was twisting as hard as I could, and just scraping metal off THROUGH rags, I gave up.

Mine is classic army. I'm looking for 2 front barrels, I have lots of flash hiders.
