SRC (gen 3) M4 SD or KWA M4 s-system
I'm just wondering which brand has better quality/performance/durability between these brands. I know src uses a customized version 2 gearbox. Does KWA use a version 3 gearbox?
Thanks |

All M4 and M16, no matter the make, use V2 gearboxes (except maybe cheapo full clear not-to-size POS)

It says that the 8.4v battery is recommended for the kwa. Would a 9.6 cause damage?

there are guys in town running 10.8 batteries in there KWA's. I haven't opened those guns but they have been running so far so good this season. I don't see any reason why you couldnt run a 9.6. I'm going to bet the farm that the manual says 8.4v for liability or warranty reasons.

I can't comment on which is better, but you won't be disappointed by the KWA.
